Mac OSX: Extract the 1st page of each pdf in a collection of them as an image
This little CLI snippet has to be executed in the directory where you have your collection of pdf’s. It uses sips to extract the first page some each pdf and maintains the full filename. The standard share link will not work. You will have to change the link to make the picture appear as an embedded image in a html page.
